Dave and I went to Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines to help Mayor Edward Hagedorn evaluate the possibility of converting the existing gas tricycles to electric. Dave retrofitted a new 3000 watt eBike and hooked it up to an old, heavy sidecar to see if it would do the job.Mayor Ed Hagedorn wanted to know if our 3000 watt Electric motorcycle would pull an existing side car on one of their local gas tricycles sidecars. Cruz, took it to a welder and it was done by 8 AM the following morning.The Mayor took off on it like it was a Ferrari!! He had no problems with it. This is a test of the Mayor's EV feasability study for Puerto Princesa's existing gas tricycle problem.
